Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs)

The AAPI community is incredibly diverse and has faced significant obstacles throughout history, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Recognizing and addressing the unique cultural experiences of the Asian American community is a primary passion in my therapeutic work. In sessions, I emphasize cultural sensitivity, acknowledging the impact of cultural identity and lived experience on mental health. Through a culturally informed approach, I work with clients to navigate such issues as acculturation, family dynamics, and the intersectionality of identity, fostering a space where AAPI individuals feel understood and supported.
